Ok so I haven't made any posts in a couple days so I got something cool in store for the pokemon song of the day posts. First since its difficult for me to post everyday I will make it a Pokemon songs for the week! There will be 7 songs in this one post one for each day and they will be less random because nobody wants to hear the pokeradar song for 30 minutes.....

So today we have Mt. Pyre from ruby, sapphire, and emerald. I never played the original ruby, sapphire, or emerald but I did play ORAS so I do know this song. Can you watch the whole video?
The games have finally released and the countdown has come to an end but this doesn't mean this is the end of the blog. I will still post a pokemon song of the day and maybe some other things....

Only 1 more day until USUM releases! It will release tomorrow and I can't wait. I am shoving everything today into one post. (mostly because I ran out of ideas to cover...) These games remind me of Black 2 and White 2 so much because B2W2 introduced so many new things and areas compared to BW just like how Sun and Moon is so much different than Ultra Sun and Ultra Moon, also B2W2 and USUM both have Fusions with the third party legendary so there are similarities I find between these games. My favorite pokemon games are 5th generation so this isn't a bad thing in my eyes. I hope they live up to expectations and it isn't just a bundled up mess with way to many characters not being able to get much time in the story but I hope they do it well.
Well it's time for another random pokemon song of the day! The winner is Professor Elm's Lab from pokemon gold and silver. I haven't gotten the virtual console version of these games yet but I probably should....

The final USUM trailer was released and I noticed that they haven't revealed much about the trials in this game. They focused on the returning things and post game content more on their trailers. It does beg the question how will these trials differ from Sun and Moon. We are shown some things like that metal Vikavolt above in these trailers but not much overall...
I thought it would be fun to theorize the upcoming Totem pokemon in USUM. Now I probably won't get most of these right since it is just guess work but it could be cool theorizing the totem pokemon for upcoming trials!
Normal: Komala
This little koala bear was never used very much in the story of Sun and Moon. You could catch it in the wild but it was never anyone's signature pokemon and was kinda just there. So if Komala is a Totem pokemon it would make it more memorable and be a pretty cool change.
Water: Pyukumuku
To be honest I doubt they would change it from Wishiwashi but if I had to choose a different pokemon as a Totem I would choose Pyukumuku because this thing is a dangerous wall. It has mad defense and special defense and has access to moves like Counter, Recover, Helping Hand, (for the offensive pokemon it calls for help) and Bide. It would be a great ingame boss to deal with even after it dies, that innards out ability will be annoying.
Fire: Alolan Marowak
It was confirmed that Alolan Marowak is the Totem pokemon of the fire trial so... can't argue with that.
Grass: Lurantis
I wanted it to be Shiinotic or Tsareena but in one of the trailers it shows Lurantis sneaking up behind the player so it most likely is Lurantis still.
Electric: Metal Vikavolt
Ok so in the trailer a metal Vikavolt can be seen so... that is good enough for me!
Ghost: Palossand (Shiny?)
The ghost trial is near a beach so I think it would be pretty cool for a Shiny Palossand to be the Totem pokemon on the beach. This is probably the biggest stretch but Shiny Palossand is black and that is the only beach that has black sand so it would make sense geography wise and it would seem like a missed opportunity if they didn't but it would be so COOL.
Dragon: Turtonator (Ultra Sun), Drampa (Ultra Moon)
These would be cool version exclusive totem pokemon to fight and a way better improvement to Kommo-o. Ryuki can also be in charge of the trial this time and it would be pretty cool.
Fairy: Ribombee
This would make sense since Ribombee isn't seen ingame all that much and in the 2nd battle with Mina she gives her Ribombee the Fairium Z. Foreshadowing possibly?
Okay I do hope they add a Flying Trial for Kahili but they haven't even revealed anything like that so I doubt it. Well that's all I got for now so keep on theorizing, be careful, and stay hyped for USUM.
Only 2 days left in the countdown. We are almost there! So yesterday we were hit with the final USUM trailer. I talked about the new Necrozma mega but never discussed what I thought about the move tutors as much. So that is what I am going to talk about today!
The moves shown above are obviously low tier moves since they cost only 8-16 BP. But for the low tier they have some pretty good ones like thunder punch and zen headbutt. If you look closely it looks like this BP shop is in a sandy area, maybe a mantine beach? In the trailer we see pokemon use moves that are quite unique for the pokemon using them.

-Zapdos uses Heat Wave
-Golisopod looks like it uses Drill Run (Not sure about that)

The final trailer was released today and it features something very awesome! Apparently Necrozma has a mega evolution or something like it. It could be a mega that doesn't need a mega ring or keystone to activate, which is why it's called Ultra Burst instead of Mega Evolution. Do all of the Ultra Beasts have hidden Ultra Bursts or just Necrozma? If you look at the picture it looks like Necrozma is engulfed in light! If you remember back, there is a place where Necrozma has stolen the light....
Ultra Megalopolis!
Is this how Necrozma unlocked its Mega evolution by stealing the light of Ultra Megalopolis? This is all speculation but it does sound interesting! I would love to see all the Ultra Beasts Bursting into God like Monsters. That would be awesome but it probably only goes to Necrozma. Okay as for the song I wan't to share, it is a classic. I loved Pokemon Blue Rescue Team and it is one of my favorite games of all time. A lot of nostalgia with Blue Rescue Team and I wan't to show you the song I heard every time I got on. It is the Pokemon Square theme, The main town you wake up in every day... I couldn't find a blue rescue team version but it just sounds slightly more gameboy like in the red rescue team version so here it is and I won't challenge you to listen to the whole thing but I know I will.....
We are actually given little information on the Ultra Recon Squad other than the fact that there will be different members depending on your game. Dulse and Zossie in Ultra Sun, and Soliera and Phyco in Ultra Moon. That does beg the question, who is the leader of this organization? Usually in pokemon games there aren't two people in charge of a organization and also not version exclusive either. Usually when a evil team is announced they show the grunts and their leader but... that is not the case here. What if.... this team really isn't a team. What if we are being led astray and these people are only part of a group, a squad in which there is no grunts and all the members work together instead of having a single leader or they could just be trying to hide who the leader is because it is somehow plot twisty. What do you think about the Ultra Recon Squad? Do you think they are evil? Do you think that they even have a leader? I don't know but Gamefreak is definitely hiding something about this group. Only 4 days left in the USUM countdown! So... I recently tried to access the Pokemon Global link but they are going under maintenance. Look at the date the maintenance ends......
Do you see it? Do you know what this means!? It means that when the global link comes back online on November 17th it is gonna be filled with ULTRA CONTENT!
We are nearing the date Pokemon ULTRA Sun and Pokemon ULTRA Moon are being released.
Do you think the Global link will change all that much? I really hope they bring back the Dream World or something like that because it was a really cool way to play an online game and catch pokemon with their hidden abilities. I loved the Dream World and I feel the pokemon Global link is kinda lackluster nowadays without it. Heck I barely get on Pokemon Global link anymore unless I get QR code rental teams (which is why I tried to use it in the first place.) or something... As you probably already know Gamefreak introduced team rainbow rocket a while ago. They also revealed new grunts for this team but that does beg the question.... Does the old admins make a return?
The evil team leaders come back but does their underlings? Probably not but it still is cool to speculate. I will now list all the admins from each evil team. (give me luck.....)
Note: These are leaders that were successful on their first attempt in taking over the world meaning any new members in any sequels will probably not appear.

Zinzolin is loyal to Ghetsis even when knowing his evil intentions which is why he is not included in this category. **N was never an evil character so if he did return he would still be misguided by his father. ***Colress was introduced in the sequel to black and white so he probably wouldn't appear but I listed him anyway in case Ghetsis found him along the way because without meeting Colress there would be no DNA splicers and when there is no DNA splicers then Black and White Kyurem doesn't exist.

These are the final moments in the countdown! Take a look at this cool artwork for Team Rainbow Rocket. If you look closely you will see a new hidden member to their group. That's right it's your boi, Aether Branch Chief Faba! He is the ultimate Villain in Team Rainbow Rocket. If you look at the bottom you see the Player, Wicke, and Guzma. That's Right, Guzma is gonna be helping you against Team Rainbow Rocket! The Big Bad Guzma who isn't so Bad is gonna be working along side you!

Sadly some people got a hold of the ultra sun and ultra moon games illegally and leaked all of the new features across the internet. I will not cover any of those leaks because we were not meant to see them and I would like to play the game as blind as possible. I suggest that all of you be careful because they are all over youtube and news sites. If you want to play the game without spoilers I recommend staying away from those articles and youtube videos. I have seen some leaks unintentionally because people put them in the title of the article or in the thumbnail of the video but I will try my best to stay away from any more of that content. I advise you to do the same. I also plan to play Generation 8 completely blind so I won't have a countdown for that game. The only thing I wan't to know about Gen 8 is the legendaries on the cover. I think playing a new generation completely blind will be a whole new experience. Just imagine picking up sun and moon and not having any idea what alolan forms are or what Z-crystals are. I intend to do that for the next series of pokemon games but for now, Be careful and still stay hyped for USUM.
Only 6 more days in the countdown! USUM is almost here I can almost taste it. Anyway this Mimikyu... just look at it, taunting us. Gamefreak is still hiding what's underneath the ghost sheet and now Mimikyu is showing other pokemon whats underneath which immediately kills them.... maybe we don't wanna see what is underneath the sheet and maybe we never will. Today I am going to cover everything (I haven't already covered.) important in the past trailers. Some things I haven't covered yet because I made this site 10 days before the release rather than when USUM was announced.
First: The trainer you be will get a different look to begin with which is cool because it is more tropical than the previous look.
Second: Lycanroc has a new form which can only be obtained by a special Rockruff via mystery gift. The Rockruff received will differ between versions. The Rockruff from Ultra Sun will learn Fire Fang and the Rockruff from Ultra Moon will learn Thunder Fang. This Lycanroc is a center point for the other Lycanrocs and it can learn Accelerock which is exclusive to Midday Lycanroc and Counter which is exclusive to Midnight Lycanroc.
Third: Kommo-o has a new z-move called Clangorous Soulblaze which can hit multiple pokemon in a double battle and will raise its Attack, Defense, Special Attack, Special Defense, and Speed. It is Crazy Over Powered.
Fourth: You probably know this one by now if your here but I am going to cover it anyway.
The mascot legendary is Necrozma and it has the ability to capture Lunala and Solgaleo kinda like how Nihilego was able to capture something as well in sun and moon. These ultra beasts are like parasites looking for hosts.
Fifth: You can battle Ultra Beasts in their own dimension. Which is really cool to explore their own territory kinda like the distortion world.
Sixth: Lycanroc gets a new Z-move called Splintered Stormshards and every Lycanroc can use this z-move not just the new one which is cool.
Seventh: The island trials come back with new and exciting trials like Mina's new trial. I wonder if it will be any more exciting than her trial from sun and moon.
Eighth: More than 400 returning pokemon will be in this game. Which a lot by the way...
also some version exclusive pokemon come back too like Houndoom in Ultra Sun and Manectric in Ultra Moon as an example.
Ninth: A new feature called the Alola Photo Club comes as you can take pictures with your pokemon doing various poses and actions. You can also design the photos.
Tenth: A new place to explore which is called Ultra Megalopolis a place where Necrozma has stolen the light. It looks like it is the Ultra Recon Squad's Secret Base. I wonder what its purpose is.
Finally: This Trailer Shows A new signature move for Necrozma and new Z-moves for Dusk Mane and Dawn Mane Necrozma. It also shows a new Roto Lotto feature which acts like O-powers and they make things in game easier to do. Also Rotom has a Z-move which can make Z-moves be used again in a battle a Z-move was already used.
So that is all the old coverage I missed. Now it's gonna be difficult to come up for things for tomorrow... I guess I will just do some theories or something. Well that's all I got for now so keep on theorizing and getting hyped for USUM!
A new pokemon trailer was released today! It shows Mimikyu's signature z-move Let's snuggle forever.
I don't know what to think about this crazy move. Mimikyu literally kills its victim in this trailer and then just chucks their body offscreen. Savage move by Mimikyu. Well that's all I got for now so keep on theorizing and getting hyped for USUM.
A new Facility was recently announced for USUM. You can rent powerful pokemon and battle strong trainers as a secret agent. I personally don't like battle facilities all that much because of how they cap your pokemon level at 50 so you can't train. But in this case it is ok because you rent pokemon at random rather than EV and IV training and Nature breeding. In the Battle Tree you could scan QR codes of pokemon which I did since I wan't to battle my favorite returning characters without hours of training each and every individual pokemon. So its a nice new feature that will probably be like any other battle facility.
Also a new Scavenger Hunt has taken place in which you look around all of Alola for totem stickers!
These Obviously replaces Zygarde cells in Sun and Moon but I do wonder how we will be able to obtain Zygarde's complete form without the cells unless these stickers and zygarde cells will be all over the island. With these new stickers you can obtain Totem Sized Pokemon! Giant Sized Pokemon Forms is a cool addition. I wonder if it will only be for just existing Totem pokemon or if they add a few more forms as well.
It Turns out you can find most or even all the starters in the wild now in USUM. In Sun and Moon you could potentially find Johto Starters but in USUM it looks like they will expand and you can find all of them which is a first since before it was only possible to get them from a person who breeded their starter pokemon. There is only 8 days left in the countdown! Some time ago two new features were released. The first one lets you ride on a mantine to get to other islands which is a cool idea kinda like the soaring feature in ORAS. (Omega Ruby and Alpha Sapphire.) You can encounter pokemon like tentacool in the water while surfing and you can gain points by doing flips in the air. There will probably be a fast travel option as well for all you speed runners and impatient people.
The second feature is that you can go through Ultra Space on Solgaleo and Lunala. You will be able to travel to different worlds and battle ultra beasts and legendaries! It is similar to mantine surf because it's like surfing through dimensions. Well that's all I got for now so keep on theorizing and getting hyped for USUM.

Returning Legendary Pokemon were recently announced in USUM. Every single legendary will be in these games with some being version exclusive. Here is a list on all returning legendaries in this game.
That is a lot of legendary pokemon! Apparently you can battle them on their home turf meaning when you get access to dimension traveling you can go to their dimension and battle them. I wonder if it will be new locations or if it will be new renditions of the old areas like battling Mewtwo in Cerulean Cave, Giratina in Distortion World, or even Kyurem in Giant Chasm. I would love to see these areas brought to life in 3D. Well that's all I got for now so keep on theorizing and getting hyped for USUM.
The Countdown to Ultra Sun and Ultra Moon Continues! There is only 9 days left til release.
Some time ago new ultra beasts were released. These are known as UB Burst which is exclusive to Ultra Sun and UB Assembly which is exclusive to Ultra Moon. UB Burst looks like a alien clown which is pretty cool. UB Burst is a Fire/Ghost type which is surprising because I wouldn't have ever guessed that because it looks more like a Normal type than anything else but I guess a Normal type ultra beast wouldn't be that cool. Ultra Assembly looks like a spider fortress with a lot of eyes which is pretty cool. UB Assembly is a Rock/Steel type and that really surprises me because it looks like a Ghost/Steel type more than anything because of its spooky eyeballs. Team Rainbow Rocket has made their debut! In Celebration of 20 years of pokemon they have brought back all the big pokemon villains and they all join the Ultimate Team Rainbow Rocket!
Giovanni is the Leader of Team Rocket in Generation 1 which is the first pokemon games. (Red, Blue, Green(JP), and Yellow.)

Archie has made his return to be a Team Rainbow Rocket member! Notice: It is based off the original Archie rather than the Gen 3 remakes. Archie is the Leader of Team Aqua in Generation 3. (Ruby, Sapphire, and Emerald.)
Team Magma Leader Maxie
Maxie has made his return to be another Team Rainbow Rocket Member. Notice: This is the original Maxie from Gen 3. (No Glasses.) Maxie is the Leader of Team Magma in Generation 3 (Ruby, Sapphire, and Emerald.) and is a Rival to Archie although in the trailer they are working together in the same group which is odd for two people with complete opposite ideals.
Team Galactic Leader Cyrus
Cyrus has also made his return to be another member to Team Rainbow Rocket. Cyrus is the Leader of Team Galactic in Generation 4. (Diamond, Pearl, and Platinum.)
Team Plasma Leader Ghetsis
Ghetsis has made his return as well to be yet another member to Team Rainbow Rocket. Notice: This is the original Ghetsis from Black and White and not from Black 2 and White 2. Ghetsis is the Leader of Team Plasma in Generation 5. (Black, White, Black 2, and White 2)
Team Flare Leader Lysandre
Lysandre had made his return to be a member of Team Rainbow Rocket as well. Lysandre is the Leader of Team Flare in Generation 6. (X and Y)
That is a lot of returning bosses! From Gen 1 to Gen 6 it will be the most feared evil team yet.
I can't wait for Ultra Sun and Ultra Moon. Why are all these evil Leaders returning? Why are Ghetsis, Maxie, and Archie in their Original outfits rather than their new or their updated ones? Ok, so some time ago they revealed a new ultra beast called UB Adhesive. This ultra beast is used by the Ultra Recon Squad which was also revealed a while ago. I think its a really cool Idea for this Team to have an ultra beast as a signature pokemon. How will we be able to obtain this pokemon if it is exclusive to this team? Well maybe they either give one to you after you beat the game or they release it and you have to find it and catch it. UB Adhesive is a pure poison type and looks a lot like other mythical pokemon so maybe it will be a mythical pokemon. Unable to obtain ingame but will be an event? It is an interesting theory. Ninth: A new feature called the Alola Photo Club comes as you can take pictures with your pokemon doing various poses and actions. You can also design the photos.
