Detective Pikachu

A new Charming Pokemon side game was released some time ago on March 24th.

I have not currently beaten it but so far it is really fun and enjoyable....

It isn't anything entirely new in terms of story and it somewhat reminds me of an older Scooby Doo PS2 game I played when I was younger.

You play as a boy named Tim (no choice on boy or girl.) who is trying to find out where his missing father is with his father's pikachu who likes coffee and has a detective voice.... oh yeah and pikachu talks....

This game is a light hearted and whimsical adventure so if that is not your type of game then it probably isn't for you.

Pokemon side games are always fun to see because it breaks that normal pokemon style of gameplay and trys something new like with the dungeon crawler mystery dungeon series or the adventure pokemon ranger series....

It is a full priced 3ds game though so if you never played a pokemon game before I recommend the main series pokemon games first before diving into the obscure side games.

I also have not beaten these games and only got to chapter 4 out of 9 ish chapters so it could fall flat on its face in the later chapters.... just keep that in mind.... I will update you if it does...

USUM is old news

It turns out USUM didn't do very well and has been quickly brushed aside in hopes for a switch pokemon game so since everyone is moving forward, I will to! The Blog will soon get a redesign and the countdowns will continue when they release their next game! I will be playing Generation 8 as blind as possible though so I won't focus on any news or anything. Only potential speculation and maybe the starters and box art....

P.S. If you didn't know the pokemon company released a side game known as Detective Pikachu where you play as a Coffee Drinking Pikachu who can talk. This is out now if you want to get it. I know I will, so more on this later....

Pokemon Songs of the Week

Today is Monday and I got some more songs for you. How about the gym leader themes from every generation! Note: I will use the oldest versions of these songs and their remakes. No BW2 PWT included today and also I will also have the island kahuna theme in this list since their was no gym leaders in that game and the kahuna's are the closest thing to gym leaders so... deal with it.

Update

Ok so I haven't made any posts in a couple days so I got something cool in store for the pokemon song of the day posts. First since its difficult for me to post everyday I will make it a Pokemon songs for the week! There will be 7 songs in this one post one for each day and they will be less random because nobody wants to hear the pokeradar song for 30 minutes.....
This will start tomorrow so look out for it!

Today we have the song Battle against Strong Wild Pokemon from Black and White which is basically Audino........... or also known as Audino's Battle Theme. Audino was always that secret legendary nobody cared about or wanted.

So today we have Mt. Pyre from ruby, sapphire, and emerald. I never played the original ruby, sapphire, or emerald but I did play ORAS so I do know this song. Can you watch the whole video?

The Games are Officially Out!

The games have finally released and the countdown has come to an end but this doesn't mean this is the end of the blog. I will still post a pokemon song of the day and maybe some other things....

Day 10

You can see Mega Necozma's face in the middle which is pretty cool.

Only 1 more day until USUM releases! It will release tomorrow and I can't wait. I am shoving everything today into one post. (mostly because I ran out of ideas to cover...) These games remind me of Black 2 and White 2 so much because B2W2 introduced so many new things and areas compared to BW just like how Sun and Moon is so much different than Ultra Sun and Ultra Moon, also B2W2 and USUM both have Fusions with the third party legendary so there are similarities I find between these games. My favorite pokemon games are 5th generation so this isn't a bad thing in my eyes. I hope they live up to expectations and it isn't just a bundled up mess with way to many characters not being able to get much time in the story but I hope they do it well.
Well it's time for another random pokemon song of the day! The winner is Professor Elm's Lab from pokemon gold and silver. I haven't gotten the virtual console version of these games yet but I probably should....
